WWII Trading Cards for the Discriminating Collector

This limited edition set of cards, only 5,000 printed, pays tribute to ten of the most successful US Military aircraft from 1940 through 1945. Among the ten aircraft are the B-25J Mitchell, B-17G Flying Fortress, P-40B Tomahawk, B-29 Superfortress, F4F-4 Wildcat, P-38G Lightning, F6F-3 Hellcat, P-47D Thunderbolt, and the P-51D Mustang airplane.

With the guidance of Ray Wagner, author and archivist of the San Diego Aerspace Museum, artist Rodney Stroup recaptures the spirit of each aircraft with extensive detail. The collection is handsomely displayed in a rich, glass covered, furniture finished wood frame, with a brass title plate. Mat size is 16" x 20".
