Airplane Décor: This Wood Propeller is styled after early flight wood propellers. The Wood Propeller looks like a wood Vintage Flight Propeller. Antiqued brass is on the leading edge as was done in bygone years to protect the propeller blade. When the propeller was in motion on grass fields stones were often kicked-up damaging the leading edge of the blade. Nicks and dings have been added to the aged birch wood to add to the authentic, used look of the propeller. But to keep it as an attractive decorative item, the wood has been hand distressed and hand rubbed for a beautiful finish. Hardware is included for hanging or you can prop it in a corner. The Wood Propeller measures about 73 ¼" long by 6" wide at the thickest part of the blade.
