The Tri-Plane Fokker was engineered by the Germans during the Great War later known as World War 1. The Tri-Plane aircraft was renowned for its nimbleness and quickness, which were essential qualities in aerial combat. The Fokker was piloted by the famous German ace, Baron von Richthofen, and became known as the Red Baron because of the airplane’s red color.
This fantastic model has about an 18 1/2" wingspan, 15 ¼" length and 7 ½" in height. Place on a bookshelf to be admired or hang from the ceiling. Minor assembly is required as the landing gear needs attaching to the bottom of the fuselage with the eight provided small screws. Shipping weight is calculated at 4 lbs.
