Then the outer bezel is forged with stainless steel that is known for its hardness and adds to the watch protection. What’s more is that the watch band is made for strength with a very striking convex urethane and stainless steel links band.

Nancy’s Notes: Powerful, leading edge features and a smart look are the reasons I like this watch. The shock resistant technology is a fantastic feature. When flying in IMC, Instrument Meteorological Conditions, (in layman’s terms the weather is poor), it can get pretty choppy in the air. Under these conditions it is not unusual to experience moderate to severe turbulence particularly when a pilot is descending through the clouds making an instrument approach to land. Having a watch that can easily handle a possible impact or jolt and still keep accurate time gives a pilot one less thing to be concerned about in less than desirable flying conditions.
