Airplane Décor - Our American Flag Airplane Propeller is simply stunning home décor. This decorative Flag Propeller blade is produced from a real airplane propeller made of forged aluminum. An old, unairworthy, beat-up propeller with lots of nicks and dings and plenty of air time is painstakingly crafted into this magnificent piece of art.

To craft such a dazzling art piece is extremely labor intensive. Each propeller blade must be stripped, filed, grinded, filled, sanded and acid washed in preparation for painting. To generate the spectacular flag, an eight-step painting processed is utilized. The same type of paint that is applied to many airplanes is used to create the Flag Propeller. The painting is so incredibly detailed it looks as if you can see “Old Glory” undulating in the wind (inset photograph). As each Flag Propeller is individually made, no two blades will look the same. Depending upon availability, blades size will range from 34 inches to 46 inches.
