F/A-18 Hornet Model

Wood Model Plane – The F/A 18 Hornet model plane is handsomely handcrafted of gorgeous mahogany wood. This artistic rendition begins with a master craftsman carving the F/A 18 plane from sustainably forested mahogany wood. After carefully sanding the model to a silky smooth finish multiple coats of clear lacquer are applied so the natural beauty of the wood is enhanced and shown to its best advantage. A touch of black paint is strategically placed on parts of the plane adding dimension an interest. Each model is unique and will differ slightly in appearance as the grain in the mahogany wood will vary.

The F/A 18 Hornet comes complete with a mahogany wood and metal stand so it can easily be displayed on a desktop, bookshelf, table, etc. This attractive model measures about 18" long with a 13 ¼" wingspan.
