The Altimeter Compass Pilot Watch also records the temperature every 5 minutes. The range is from 14° to 140° Fahrenheit (may be changed to Celsius). Having a temperature reading is particularly handy for pilots wanting to calculate density altitude.

The pilot is not going to want to take his or her hands off the controls to press a button to see the time on the watch. With the Auto Light feature, the pilot simply tilts the watch 40° from a horizontal position, and the entire watch face is illuminated making it easy to read.

Thanks to the advances in the technology of Solar Power units, no battery replacement is every required with this watch! A small amount of light is all that is required to power the watch. Fully charged, the watch will function for approximately 5 months, depending upon feature usage. Recharge the solar power unit with sunlight or indoor lighting. There is even a visible battery power indicator so the user can easily see the power level.
