Charter Quoting Aviation Software - Charter Quote is a Windows-based program designed for FAR Part 135 operations. When the software was being developed, the primary focus was to give fast quotes while the customer was still on the telephone. The program was also written so any employee would find it easy to use and be able to provide accurate information. The program produces the same quote every time, no matter who does it!

Charter Quote calculates distance, estimated time enroute, and total round trip charges "by the mile" or "by the hour." There are automatic conversions between nautical/statute miles and hourly or mileage charges. Most quotes, using airport identifiers, are ready within one minute. This feature provides great customer service for a client or potential client. There is no lengthly wait on the telephone and your representative has all the information to provide a fast, professional quote. Now your representative has an improved chance of closing the sale on the telephone. Better yet, getting the client an accurate, written quote is a snap! If the customer requests the quote in writing, it is easy to print the quote with the company header and the customer's data printed on top. Providing quick, expert service will easily expand your client base.

The program has the capability to find the closest airport to any city or town in the United States and Canada, and show the longest runway. The North American database consists of airports and VORs for the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, and parts of Latin America. Calculations are based upon the great circle route. The program also has the ability to allow the user to add their own fixes and add on airport specific charges such as landing fees, RON fees, etc. Charter Quote even has the flexibility to add a percentage surcharge for mountainous terrain, seasonal winds, IMC flight, and more.

Up to fifteen aircraft may be entered with the rate charged per mile and block speed for each plane. With the newest version of Charter Quote, the software now has the ability for multiple aircraft rate files and quote storage files. Once the quote has been completed, storage is a snap and the client information may be made available for a direct mail program or sales calls. Charges may also be added for items such as crew costs and a sliding scale for short verus long trips. The newest version includes four types of taxes for the state and/or federal government. The software comes with a manual and online "help" function. Shipping is calculated at 1 lb.
